| HISTORY |

The Yasui family traces its involvement with traditional forms
of Japanese architecture back to the late 17th century. Since
that time the family has undertaken the design and construction
of such various projects as temples, shrines and palaces. After
World War U,the family changed their private enterprise into
a limited stock company. With the rapid growth of the Japanese
economy and increased demand for steel and reinforced concrete
buildings, the company has adapted to this new field of architecture
while still maintaining its speciality in traditional architecture.
